Types of Degrees

Bachelor of Ministry Degree
Our Bachelor Degree is a three year program or 24 credit hours of study designed specifically for those who are answering God's calling into a place of service in ministries. The program is designed with all practical courses needed in the ministry of your calling. We have set forth a curriculum that we believe will be most beneficial to your chosen ministry. This will give you a solid basis for that specific ministry. Due to the condensed time (hours of study credits) to earn this degree there will be no time for electives. You may take other electives as you wish for a broader scope in your ministry but only those listed for your degree program tract will be credited toward your degree. However, other completed courses will be noted on your transcript. Many of these courses you choose may be used towards a Master Degree in the future.

Associate of Ministry Degree
Our Associate Degree is a two year program or 16 credit hours of study designed to provide the student who may not be preparing specifically for full time or bi - vocational ministry but who desires the opportunity to become grounded in the basic elements of their chosen ministry to serve in the local church. If the student desires to continue their study, all course credits may be used toward a Bachelor Degree.

Diploma in Ministry
Our Diploma program is a one year or 8 credit hours of study designed to equip the student with a basic understanding of Bible Theology and a survey of the Old and New Testaments. The student will also gain proficiency in the subject of their chosen ministry. The Diploma will have the ministry subject listed. For instance: The “Diploma in Teaching Ministry.”

Course Certificates
Course Certificates are a one semester course of instruction in a specific subject of your choice without pursuing any degree or diploma program. However, after satisfactorily completing a course with a passing grade, the course credit may be used toward any degree program RBIS offers.
